Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day activities of site operatives, subcontractors, and construction work to ensure efficient and effective project delivery
- Foster strong client relationships through regular meetings, progress updates, and ensuring client satisfaction at all stages of the project
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety documentation, including Health and Safety Plans, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments
- Oversee the procurement of materials using established computer-based systems, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency
Reporting
- Direct Reports to project manager

Qualifications and Experience
- A relevant qualification (HNC, Degree, or equivalent) in Construction, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline but not essential.
- CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification
- Temporary Works Supervisor qualification
- Proven background in the construction and electricity sectors, with hands-on experience in substation work
- Competence in working with substations up to 132kV
- Familiarity with NEC forms of contract and contractual frameworks
- Strong knowledge of current Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation
- Proficiency in IT, particularly Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- A full, valid UK driving license
