Finance and Administration Officer 

Duties

  • Maintaining the financial records of the business.
  • Preparation and posting of financial journals.
  • Reconciling financial control accounts.
  • Bookkeeping to Trial Balance.
  • Maintaining the asset register.
  • Maintaining Project profitability schedules.
  • Maintaining Sales and Purchase Ledgers on Quickbooks.
  • Weekly reconciliations of active contractors, ensure all admin is complete on the onboarding platform.
  • Credit control, enforcing Walker & Watts company terms
  • Managing, posting and analysing expenses monthly and processing the monthly credit card statement.
  • Maintaining and developing our reporting processes.
  • Maintaining a high level of communication with our clients, contractors and internal consultants.
  • Maintaining the business Management System documentation.
  • Supporting with ad-hoc projects, financial analysis and administrative duties when required


Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
  • Experience with Quickbooks or similar accounting systems.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and prioritise daily.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well organised with a high level of efficiency.
  • Ability to take the initiative to improve or even implement your own processes.
  • Professional, discrete, and reliable.
  • Ability to occasionally attend offices in London
