Duties
- Maintaining the financial records of the business.
- Preparation and posting of financial journals.
- Reconciling financial control accounts.
- Bookkeeping to Trial Balance.
- Maintaining the asset register.
- Maintaining Project profitability schedules.
- Maintaining Sales and Purchase Ledgers on Quickbooks.
- Weekly reconciliations of active contractors, ensure all admin is complete on the onboarding platform.
- Credit control, enforcing Walker & Watts company terms
- Managing, posting and analysing expenses monthly and processing the monthly credit card statement.
- Maintaining and developing our reporting processes.
- Maintaining a high level of communication with our clients, contractors and internal consultants.
- Maintaining the business Management System documentation.
- Supporting with ad-hoc projects, financial analysis and administrative duties when required
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
- Experience with Quickbooks or similar accounting systems.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and prioritise daily.
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Well organised with a high level of efficiency.
- Ability to take the initiative to improve or even implement your own processes.
- Professional, discrete, and reliable.
- Ability to occasionally attend offices in London
